Start your journey through Melanesia in lovely Lautoka, Fiji with a visit to Nadi Temple or the South Sea Orchid Garden followed by a relaxing mud pool bath before diving into the crystal clear waters of Yasawa-I-Rara Island. Upon arriving in Port Vila, the capital of Vanuatu, sink your teeth into fresh seasonal fruit at Mama's Market, feel the mist of Mele Cascades waterfall, hit beautiful Jade Beach, or hop on the boat to Tranquility Island to visit the Hawksbill Turtle Sanctuary. The adventure continues at Lifou's Jokin Cliffs and Jinek Beach in New Caledonia. This fossilized coral atoll is the center of traditional Melanesian culture. "The Closest Island to Paradise," Ile de Pins, was once a penal colony and is now appreciated by all for it's turquoise waters full of colorful coral, white-sand beaches, and tall native pine trees.
