Vast swathes of jungle, home to extraordinary tropical plants and an abundance of colourful wildlife, Amazonia will undoubtedly be the highlight of this magnificent adventure that starts the moment you leave British shores. On this incredible voyage taking you to the infamous Îles du Salut, sun-splashed islands in the West Indies, Cape Verde and the Azores, you’ll cruise the mighty Amazon and discover the largest tropical rainforest and most diverse ecosystem on earth!

Cruise Highlights

  • Approximately 100 performers will thrill you at the Boi Bumba show in Parintins. A mesmerising carnival of music and dance with flamboyant costumes.
  • From Manaus, visit an ecological park. Keep your eyes open for wildlife such as parrots and toucans, and you may even witness the giant water lilies in bloom.
  • From Santarém, in the midst of the Amazonian jungle, there’s a chance to see rubber and Brazil nut trees, and perhaps fish for piranhas at Maica Lake.
  • Make the most of your day on lush St Lucia by taking a tour across the island to see the dramatic Pitons, La Soufrière volcano, the Diamond Baths and the sulphur springs.
  • Enjoy your final landfall in Ponta Delgada. Stretch your legs in the narrow streets and the paved squares with their geometric designs of black & white mosaics.

Highlights may be subject to pre-registering specific shore excursions and are subject to operation and weather conditions.
