Whilst some ships have more dining options than others, you can be assured that the quality and choice of food on offer is the same across the Pullmantur fleet. On each vessel there will be the chance to dine in formal surroundings or more casually, and you can decide to eat in restaurants that stick to regimented seating times or come and go as you please in the many buffet areas. Most of their ships provide the option to eat outside if you wish; meaning you can make the most of those balmy evenings and never miss a drop of the glorious sunshine.
As well as the excellent food choice, there is also a great selection of wine to accompany your meals. This, of course, will be included in your all-inclusive package and their knowledgeable waiters can always recommend something enticing if you are unsure of what to choose.
As well as providing a la carte and buffet options at certain mealtimes, there will also be snacks and light bites available throughout the day to keep you going. Themed evenings are also a common occurrence during which certain areas of the ship are transformed to reflect a specific country of subject.
This is Horizon’s main restaurant and, just as the name would suggest, it offers splendid a la carte options for all guests. Tables are laid out with sparkling glassware and spotless linens, menus include dishes from around the world with a small focus on some of the regions you will visit, and staff can cater for both large and small parties. The quality of food on offer becomes clear when you learn that the menu has been developed by French chef Francis Leveque who has been acknowledged by the restaurant guide ‘Gault & Millau’ for his creativity.
Mealtimes are slightly more relaxed in this dining area whose name translates as ‘gourmet market’. Taste a variety of international dishes as you fill your plate with as little or as much as you like from the buffet. The food is just as delightful as in the main restaurant and the smiling waiters will still offer a dedicated service.
The outdoor terrace provides a casual place to enjoy some food without having to go inside out of the sun. Situated close to the pool area, this dining area can offer a light lunch to keep you going until dinner or a full meal fit for a king.
